Taking the parallel route to the railway of the Tren de las Nubes, we will direct ourselves through the Quebrada del Toro, where the landscape is a transition between thick vegetation and the appearance of the first cardons.
Continuing on, we will start an uphill climing until we arrive to San Antonio de los Cobres, where we will make a stop to have lunch. We will continue our route to reach Salinas Grandes, just on the border between Salta and Jujuy. This is one of the most visited attractions of this region, as it is an incredible place where the white landscape merges with the intense blue sky. Here you can see the extracting process of table salt!
We will descent through Cuesta de Lipán, where condors are generally sighted, arriving to the town of Purmamarca. Admire its Cerro de los Siete Colores, one of the typical and most beautiful postals of Argentina! We will also have time for a brief walk around the village’s market.
