We have received from Calafate the news that the minitrekking activity in the Perito Moreno Glacier will not be available until October 2021. Meanwhile, the navigation that runs along the north face of this glacier and the Mayo Spirit Trek continue, to be closer from the glaciers than watching them from the catwalks.
On the other hand, there is good news: the country's rural estancias will be able to start operating with their specific protocol installed.
There will be an agenda with limited places to avoid the crossing of groups and to be able to do a deep disinfection of the spaces after each visit. On the other hand, to taste typical foods, it is suggested to use disposable utensils.
As for the activities, horseback riding can be done using an easily disinfectable cover (unlike the blankets and wool that are commonly used). You can also buy regional products in those rooms that have stores but without contacting the products in the place.
