One of the unmissable excursions that must be done in Bariloche is navigation through Nahuel Huapi Lake, which is characterized by its beautiful surroundings and crystalline waters. Sailing in the Region of the Lakes allows to discover the extraordinary geography and fauna. TREKKING
Bariloche has numerous trekking trails, allowing any traveller to get to know different places through paths of different difficulties. There are short and long trails, which adapt to each age and physical condition, but the important thing is that they all mean a dream walk. Depending on what area we are in, we can visit beaches, forests or mountains. In addition, the walks can be complemented with rappelling, kayaking or a lunch with unique views.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
The Nahuel Huapi National Park has a very rich and varied geography, which makes it the ideal setting for mountain biking. You can bike to magnificent places, exercise your body and even challenge the mountain on fast descents. Bariloche is known worldwide as the venue and organizer of high-level competitions, such as the Open Shimano downhill championship, which took place in 2014 and 2015 on Cerro Catedral. Also, during summer, the Bike Park opens its doors to adventure and excitement, so that cyclists from all over the world enjoy a wide variety of circuits.
SNOW ACTIVITIES
From July to October, Bariloche is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country, due to its offer of skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, sledding and ATVs. For those who start in winter sports, the hills offer gentle slopes and forests. The most experienced will be able to renew their challenges on slopes that reach 2100 meters above sea level and fans of "off-road" will be surprised with the variety of options available. Snowshoes, 4x4s and snowmobiles are also very fun activities that can be shared in family or with a group of friends.
