We will start our journey by getting on board the bus at the hotel, with our professional guides, who will accompany us throughout the entire tour. Salta is one of the most important cities of the Argentine Northwest as it collects many of the cultural vestiges of this zone.

First, we will head towards the Cathedral, built-in 1855, and where there were found the remains of the national hero General Güemes (as he played a very important role in the Guerra Gaucha against the Spanish Army). We will continue to the America Cultural Center and the North Historical Museum, which used to be the City Hall but nowadays it albergates sacred art exhibitions and rooms dedicated to the old traditional families of Salta.

After this visit, we will see the Minor Basilica of San Francisco, the San Bernardo Convent of the order of the Carmelites, and the Monument to General Güemes.

Continuing with our tour, we will ascend to Cerro San Bernardo to enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the city. In this zone, we will visit the Monument to the Battle of Salta and the 20 de Febrero Park.

We will go to the outskirts of the city and visit the summer village of San Lorenzo, characterized by the subtropical microclimate. Here we will have time to visit the Artisan Market, where artisans from all over the province display their original creations. Don’t forget to buy your souvenirs!
