New Pasta Restaurant at Faena Hotel, Italpasta by chef Pedro Picciau

News for foodies, the old Faena hotel bistro became Italpast Faena Buenos Aires, a collaboration (for an indefinite period) of the renowned Italian restaurant located in Campana with the hotel.

This new space has some classic immigrant cuisine prepared by the restaurant and others specially developed.
"The menu will combine iconic Italpast dishes such as the Nonna lasagna that will be added to the menu shortly and the ravioli, which are stuffed with mushrooms, mushrooms, Parmesan cheese, and loin, with a dough that is green because we make it with arugula, and are served with pomodoro sauce", explains chef Pedro Picciau who, at 75, is embarking on a new adventure, his first in the City of Buenos Aires.
In 1995, Picciau opened Italpast in Campana. In this family restaurant, he could share the culinary legacy of his native Sardinia, run by its owners and which became one of the best in the country.

"Now they can visit us here, and those who usually come to Faena will find a new proposal," says the chef.
The idea of ​​the menu is to reproduce something of that Italian spirit that family gatherings have where the source is placed in the center of the table, and everyone enjoys the food because the menu is designed to share. All with the touch of the glamor of the Faena that gives a different setting to the meeting.

As well as at night, on Sundays, it will also open for lunch with the same menu where you can enjoy antipasti such as broccoli fritters, breaded spinach, and olive croquettes stuffed with meat, or burrata with rocket, dried tomatoes, and pesto.

Italpast is one of those restaurants where you always eat well, and everyone leaves satisfied. Tasty, succulent food and the pleasure of a Sunday gathering shared with family and friends, a combo that added to the touch of distinction at the Hotel Faena offers.
