The Southern Right Whales arrive to Peninsula Valdés in May and stay until December. During this time, they reproduce and feed the baby whales. To know them, it is recommended to go between September and October, being this one the best month of the year to see them.

One of the most common ways to get close to them is to watch them from the coast, as they present themselves only some meters away. The best beaches to enjoy them are La Cantera or El Doradillo.
