Awasi Iguazú: Relais & Chateaux in Iguazú Falls
Located just 20 minutes from the world’s largest waterfalls, Awasi’s new 14-room lodge is situated on the banks of the River Iguazú, surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest.
Each villa is assigned with a private guide and has its own private pool, allowing guests to explore at their own pace, visiting where they want, in their own time.
At the command of the stove, the Chef offers a cuisine from the heart, from the jungle to the plate, halfway between simplicity and sophistication, depending on tastes and seasons. In the surroundings, nature hides innumerable secrets that surprise us: orchids, ferns, endemic trees among which tapirs, monkeys, pumas and birds of infinite colors go unnoticed.
Employees are also heavily involved in building relations with neighboring communities, working with them on a number of projects. The flagship initiative is an art workshop run by Awasi staff. This serves an average of 60 children drawn from four neighboring schools.
