For the 3rd time in a row, Zuccardi Valle de Uco is N°1 in The World’s Best Vineyard
The Mendoza winery Zuccardi Valle de Uco was chosen in Germany as the best in the world by the organizers of The World’s Best Vineyard 2021 contest. Eight Argentine wineries were awarded out of 100 nominees.
1,500 establishments participated before a jury of 600 international experts made up of leading sommeliers and travel correspondents from all over the world - which for the contest was divided into 22 regions - also chose this firm as the best winery and vineyard in South America.
Other Argentine establishments that make up the list of the 100 winners are Catena Zapata (7th place), Trapiche (18th), El Enemigo Wines (24th), Colomé (35th), SuporUco (42nd), El Esteco (53°) and Salentein (67°).
The head of the winery's Tourism and Hospitality area, Julia Zuccardi, said on Tuesday that "it is a great honor to have received this award for the third time in a row; we will do our best to honor it."
"We have a beautiful country, an extraordinary setting and a great team working with us; we are very committed to ensuring that our visitors have the best experience when they come to Argentina, when they visit Mendoza and when they arrive at Zuccardi Valle de Uco," she completed.
Before the ceremony held on Monday in Germany, the juries made a selection among more than 1,500 establishments, based on all the details that make the tourist visit to a vineyard rewarding, for which they took into account factors such as wines, gastronomy, route, accessibility, environment, personal attention, landscape and the reputation of the establishment.
The World’s Best Vineyards was designed by the William Reed team to raise the profile of wine tourism and encourage travelers to enjoy wine-related experiences around the world.
